MCP server: let Claude and other AI assistants drive WDIBoard directly
WDIBoard runs a Model Context Protocol server (POST /api/mcp, authenticated with the same Sanctum tokens as the REST API, and rate-limited). This is what lets an AI assistant like Claude operate the platform through natural-language instructions instead of a UI — schedule a post, check analytics, review the inbox — using the same scoped-token access model as everything else in the API. Very few social tools expose this kind of interface at all; WDIBoard treats it as a first-class integration, not an experiment bolted on the side.
The MCP server uses the same authentication and rate-limiting as the REST API — connecting an AI assistant doesn't mean giving it broader access than a scoped token allows.
